At SlwaY, our coconut oil production follows several key steps:
1. Coconut Collection
The necessary amount of coconuts is gathered from the land and stored in piles for a few days.
2. Shelling and Cracking of Coconuts
The husk is removed, and the coconuts are cracked open. The shelled coconut is then crushed and left in copra trays for two to three days.
3. Processing Copra
After one day of drying, the shell is removed, and the copra is cut into smaller pieces for better processing.
4. Oil Extraction
The oil is extracted from the copra using a pressing machine.
5. Final Coconut Oil
After two to three days, the oil is separated from any remaining particles, and the purified coconut oil is ready for use or sale.
